  Ponniyin Selvan (பொன்னியின் செல்வன்,English: The Son of Ponni) is a verifiable novel by Kalki Krishnamurthy, written in Tamil. The tale was first serialized in the week after week versions of Kalki during period from 29 October 1950 to 16 May 1954, and delivered in book type of five sections in 1955.
