Director Shankar goning to arested on non-bailable section in Endhiran story theft case.

Man of Brahmanism; Endhiran is a 2010 film directed by Shankar and considered to be the No. 1 director in Tamil Nadu, who directed the film for the first time in Tamil Nadu at a cost of Rs 100 crore.
In the film, Shankar is intimidated by the technology (visual effects) of what a machine would do if it got human emotions.
After the release of the film, the famous writer Aroor Tamil Nadan claimed that the story was his and filed a case of plagiarism.
Shankar Endhiran allegedly stole the story Jukiba, which he had written for Iniya Uthayam in 1996, and demanded compensation from him.
Shankar appealed to the Supreme Court against this and dismissed it as a false case;

{Indian patent law states that a patent can be claimed if 3 scenes in a film usually have 60 scenes}

But the court refused to dismiss the case as there were 16 similarities between the story of Tamil Nadu and Shankar Endran.
As the case has been going on for the last 10 years, the court has ordered Shankar to be arrested and produced before the court as it has been giving him time and time again without coming to court. So it seems that Shankar may be arrested soon.

It is the expectation of the Tamil Film Directors 'Association that the Tamil Film Directors' Association should take steps to prevent such incidents from happening again.
